From the night of November 15th to November 19th , Hue City experienced heavy to very heavy rainfall over a wide area.

To proactively respond to strong winds at sea, ensure the safety of ships and activities at sea and along the coast; heavy rain and flooding, the City's Civil Defense Command requests close monitoring of weather forecasts and developments of strong winds at sea.

Promptly notify captains and owners of vessels operating at sea so they can proactively take preventive measures and plan their operations accordingly, ensuring the safety of people and property; absolutely prohibit vessels from going out to sea when there are strong winds and high waves.

Forecasts indicate that from the night of November 17th to the morning of November 18th, this cold air mass will affect Hue City, the sea and offshore areas, with strong northeasterly winds of force 6-7, gusting to force 8-9, rough seas; wave heights of 2.5-4m; on land, temperatures will drop sharply, with cold weather at night and in the morning, the lowest temperatures in the plains around 17-19 degrees Celsius; in A Luoi 1 to A Luoi 5 communes, temperatures will be around 15-17 degrees Celsius.

Due to the influence of a strengthening cold front combined with strong easterly winds, Hue City experienced heavy to very heavy rain over a wide area from the night of November 15th to November 19th. Total rainfall during this period in the plains ranged from 200-450mm, with some areas exceeding 600mm; in mountainous areas, it ranged from 300-600mm, with some areas exceeding 800mm. The heaviest rainfall occurred on November 17th and 18th. From November 19th onwards, Hue City continued to experience rain, with scattered moderate rain and some areas experiencing heavy to very heavy rain.
