On March 29th, the Ninh Binh Provincial Association of the Elderly held a conference to review its work in the first quarter, plan tasks for the second quarter of 2024, and summarize one year of implementing the cooperation program with the Community Health Investment Company. A new cooperation program was also signed with the Provincial Population and Family Planning Department. On March 27, 2024, Vingroup Corporation signed a cooperation agreement with Well Group Healthcare Corporation (Japan) to develop a high-end elderly care center model in Vietnam. During the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon 2024, the Elderly Associations at all levels in Ninh Binh province proactively and actively advised the Party committees and authorities at all levels and coordinated with departments, agencies, and organizations to organize many positive activities such as visiting and giving gifts to elderly people in difficult circumstances, planting shade trees, cultural and artistic exchanges, and sports activities, creating a joyful, enthusiastic, safe, and economical atmosphere for welcoming the spring.
Lao Cai: Improving healthcare services for the elderly.
In order to change societal perceptions, improve quality, and meet the healthcare needs of the elderly (people aged 60 and above), ensuring adaptation to population aging and enhancing population quality to contribute to the successful implementation of Vietnam's Population Strategy until 2030, the People's Committee of Lao Cai province issued Plan No. 156/KH-UBND on healthcare for the elderly in Lao Cai province in 2024.

In response to the "Compassionate Tet - Year of the Dragon" movement, from the 10th day of the 12th lunar month, the District Representative Board of the Elderly Association and the Elderly Associations of communes and towns in Ba Vi district have mobilized, received, and distributed 7,247 gifts to elderly people in difficult circumstances, those who are sick, lonely, and without support.

Among its key tasks in 2023, the Hoa Thuan Ward Elderly Association paid special attention to promoting education and talent development, as well as caring for the elderly. Specifically, the Association coordinated with the Education Promotion Association to develop a plan for implementation, mobilize the building of studious families and clans, and contribute to the education promotion fund.
