On the morning of October 25, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to summarize 2 years of implementing Decision No. 78 of the Prime Minister .

In recent years, Tuyen Quang province has promoted the implementation of programs and projects for socio -economic development in ethnic minority areas. In particular, it has increased the mobilization of social resources to support economic development, stabilize life, build houses for poor households, build concrete roads, support the construction of sanitation works, support loans, breeds, implement clean agricultural production models... for ethnic minority people. Local Party committees and authorities in coordination with relevant agencies and departments always pay attention to and create conditions to ensure and meet the cultural, religious and belief needs of the people, especially those in ethnic minority areas. At the same time, it regularly surveys and evaluates the implementation of conventions, village regulations, models, and clubs to preserve and promote traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities; propagate and mobilize people to eliminate backward customs; practice civilized lifestyles in weddings and funerals; carry out the movement of the whole people uniting to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas...

Thereby, the material and spiritual life of the people has been gradually improved, social security has been ensured, crime, social evils, security in ethnic minority and religious areas, and rural security have been basically maintained.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and discussing solutions to continue effectively implementing tasks, speeding up the implementation of socio-economic development projects, consolidating the political system of ethnic minority areas associated with effectively implementing 3 national target programs for the period 2021-2025 on new rural construction, sustainable poverty reduction and socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas...

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son requested that agencies, departments, branches, and the District People's Committee thoroughly grasp and seriously and effectively implement the policies and directions of the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on ensuring security and order in ethnic minority areas; continue to allocate resources and effectively implement socio-economic development projects, ensuring that economic, cultural and social development must be substantial, practical, specific, and suitable to the characteristics of the locality, customs and practices of the people; promote the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for ethnic minorities, especially the Mong people. Relevant departments, branches, units and localities regularly survey and evaluate the implementation of conventions, village regulations, models, and clubs to preserve and promote traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities, etc.

On this occasion, 02 groups and 07 individuals were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Public Security; the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 35 groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in performing their tasks.
