
Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Hoang Minh and Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung signed a memorandum of cooperation.
Attending the ceremony were Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Hoang Minh; Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung; Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology Chu Hoang Ha; Director of the Hanoi Institute for Economic and Social Development Research Le Ngoc Anh, along with representatives from relevant departments, agencies, and units.
The signing of these memoranda of understanding is significant, opening up a framework for long-term, substantive, and effective cooperation between Hanoi and state management agencies in the fields of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, as well as with leading research institutes in science and technology nationwide. This will contribute to promoting the startup and innovation ecosystem; enhancing research, transfer, and application capabilities in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation; and making a practical contribution to the rapid and sustainable development of the capital city.

Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung and Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology Chu Hoang Ha signed a memorandum of cooperation.
According to the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Hanoi People's Committee and the Ministry of Science and Technology, the two sides agreed to cooperate in building a model, establishing, and supporting the development of the Hanoi Innovation Center; and developing a network of innovation centers in the city. At the same time, the two sides will cooperate in building and implementing mechanisms and policies related to innovation; and organizing training courses, programs, and events on innovation at the city, national, and international levels.

Regarding the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Hanoi People's Committee and the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, both sides will focus on promoting research and application of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation; creating breakthroughs in innovation and developing the creative startup ecosystem of the capital city. Both sides will also promote comprehensive digital transformation; develop digital government, digital economy, and digital society; train and develop high-quality human resources; and attract scientific and technological talent.
The signing ceremony is a significant milestone, affirming Hanoi's determination to use science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as key drivers for the capital's development in the new phase.
