To celebrate the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), on the evening of September 2nd, an art program with the theme "The Flag of Independence" was held at Thuy Dinh stage in Hoa Lu Ancient Town.
Through songs that highlight the image of the red flag with a five-pointed yellow star, the people and tourists participated in the program, journeying back in time to recall the path that the Party led the entire army and people in achieving independence and freedom for the nation.
The program consists of sections about the story of national independence: Part 1 - a story of Vietnamese historical memories with performances including: a medley of "Peace for Children - A Melody of Pride", "From the Lotus Village", "The August Flag - Southern Resistance - The National Guard - The Song of Unification - Praising President Ho Chi Minh". Part 2 is the story of the country in peacetime with songs such as "A Great Heart", "The Call to the Fatherland", "Living Like Flowers", "Going to School", "Peace and Love", " Ninh Binh on the Day of Return", "Vietnamese Hearts - A Thousand Vietnamese Dreams"...
The stirring melodies, imbued with national spirit, and the heroic lyrics, reflecting the indomitable will of the nation, seem to speak from the hearts of every Vietnamese person during these historic autumn days.
The program has received enthusiastic support, encouragement, and high praise from the people and tourists.
