As the first educational level that lays the foundation for the formation and development of children's personalities, the application of information technology (IT) in organizing educational activities at the preschool level not only contributes to improving the quality of education but also creates a vibrant, engaging, and appropriate environment for activities and communication, in line with current development trends.

Previously, a lesson at An Duc Kindergarten in Tan Tien commune relied primarily on teacher-student interaction and traditional visual aids such as pictures. Now, with the support of information technology, lessons have become more engaging through images, videos , sounds, interactive games, and electronic lectures designed using artificial intelligence (AI). In a lesson about the surrounding environment, instead of just observing pictures of animals, children can watch visual videos about the habitat, sounds, and activities of each animal. As a result, children learn through play and experience with multiple senses, contributing to the development of their health, physical abilities, social-emotional skills, and harmony with nature. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai, homeroom teacher of class 3A2 at An Duc Kindergarten, shared: "We proactively develop, utilize, and use digital learning materials in organizing educational activities such as: electronic lesson plans, instructional videos for children, images, interactive games, PowerPoint presentations, and STEAM learning materials. At the same time, we utilize software such as Canva, Capcut, Quizizz, ChatGPT, and AI tools to support lesson design and image creation. As a result, our electronic lessons are developed in an innovative way, enhancing visual aids and lively sounds, helping children learn better, focus more, and participate more actively in activities."
At Thien Phien Kindergarten in Tien Lu commune, the application of information technology has been effectively implemented in the education of children. The school has 14 classrooms, all equipped with televisions connected to high-speed internet to support professional work and management, with a particular focus on enhancing the digital skills of the teaching staff. Annually, the school organizes training sessions and professional development activities aimed at improving skills in using software, designing electronic lesson plans, and exploiting digital resources to support children's education. As a result, many teachers have proactively built a rich digital learning resource library with videos, images, and interactive games suitable for each age group. Many teachers also actively research and apply lesson design software, creating engaging lessons and contributing to improving the quality of childcare and education.
The province currently has 498 preschool education facilities, including 447 public and 51 private facilities, with 3,165 administrators, 36,899 teachers, and 2,105 staff. In the context of the ongoing digital transformation, the province's education and training sector is gradually innovating to meet development requirements. Recently, the education and training sector, together with local authorities, has developed plans and organized training and professional development in IT in a systematic, comprehensive, and practical manner; and launched a movement to apply artificial intelligence in lesson design at preschool education facilities throughout the province. Training courses are held regularly with diverse content, ranging from skills in using software to support the design of electronic lesson plans and the creation of digital learning materials to the application of artificial intelligence and digital platforms to serve the management, care, and education of children. The training programs are designed with a "hands-on" approach, emphasizing practical application and real-world scenarios. Instead of focusing solely on theory, teachers directly experience software for designing lesson plans, creating interactive games, building video lessons, editing images and audio, and utilizing open educational resources for teaching.

To date, 100% of preschool teachers and staff have received training on the application of information technology (IT) in managing and organizing educational activities. This has not only helped teachers and staff innovate their teaching methods but also reduced the pressure on their professional work. The use of management software also makes it easier for schools to monitor and evaluate children and manage records. A highlight of IT application in preschool education is the enhanced connection between schools and families. Through online communication groups, child management applications, and digital platforms, parents can regularly update themselves on their children's activities and collaborate more effectively with teachers in caring for and educating their children.
Equipping preschool administrators and teachers with digital skills is a necessary step to enable each administrator and teacher to become a digital key player, contributing to making digital transformation in education more in-depth, substantive, and effective.
