At AIDI Vietnam Art Candle Co., Ltd. (Viet Hung Industrial Park, Viet Hung Ward), digital transformation has become an effective tool to support trade union activities. The company currently has over 1,700 union members and workers employed in Cai Lan Industrial Park and Viet Hung Industrial Park.

According to Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice President of the Trade Union of AIDI Vietnam Art Candle Company Limited: The company has proactively proposed to the employer to strengthen the application of digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in the work of disseminating information, managing, and supporting employees. With just a smartphone, employees can easily access content related to the Labor Code, the Social Insurance Law, the company's labor regulations, and many related policies anywhere, anytime.
The Company's Trade Union effectively maintains Zalo groups to support management, information exchange, and task implementation. The Executive Committee of the Trade Union, consisting of 13 members, regularly updates the situation of union members and employees through the online platform. At the departmental trade union branches, separate Zalo groups are established to disseminate policies, regulations, and labor rules; and to receive feedback, suggestions, and complaints from employees regarding their legitimate rights and interests.
Not only within businesses, the Cam Pha Ward Trade Union currently manages 80 grassroots trade unions with over 3,120 members operating in the fields of production, business, construction, and services. To strengthen the connection between higher-level trade unions and the grassroots level, the unit has built a Zalo group system as a channel for regular information exchange, helping to ensure timely and synchronized task implementation.
In many businesses throughout the province, social media platforms are effectively utilized for interaction, recruitment, dissemination of labor laws and policies, legal consultation, and building harmonious labor relations. These platforms also serve as a useful information channel, enabling higher-level trade unions to promptly grasp the situation at the grassroots level, thereby providing appropriate support solutions for union members and workers.

Recognizing digital transformation as a key task in reforming trade union activities, the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions has implemented a comprehensive range of solutions to improve management efficiency, administration, and the quality of service to union members and workers. Online meetings and conferences are also regularly maintained, enabling trade union officials at all levels to promptly update on new policies and guidelines, enhance information exchange, and coordinate task implementation throughout the system.
Furthermore, digital communication channels such as electronic portals, fan pages, and social media groups are increasingly effective in disseminating information on policies and laws, introducing trade union activities, and programs to support union members. Many trade union services are provided on digital platforms, making it easier for workers to access information, register for welfare programs, and check their rights.
In particular, the synchronization of union membership data has helped trade unions at all levels accurately identify those in need of support, especially those facing difficult circumstances or affected by natural disasters, epidemics, or job losses. As a result, support policies are implemented promptly, targeting the right beneficiaries and achieving practical effectiveness.
Following the direction of the Resolution of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, in the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions will continue to promote comprehensive digital transformation, enhance digital capacity for trade union officials, members and workers; contributing to building a more modern, professional, and effective trade union organization in Quang Ninh , meeting the requirements of development in the digital age.
