Carrying out the task of digital transformation, Van Son commune implements 3 pillars in digital transformation, including: digital government, digital economy and digital society. With many efforts in digital transformation, in 2024, Van Son commune has reached the finish line of a smart new-style rural commune with many outstanding results. 100% of cadres and civil servants are granted accounts and use software to process work; 100% of leadership, management and work processing documents are on the network environment. 100% of incoming/outgoing documents (except confidential documents) of the commune are done online. The rate of online submission of online public services every year is always 100%. The direction and administration of the Party Committee and government to the village are all deployed on the Zalo application platform. The Zalo group has helped the direction and administration of the commune leaders to be deployed quickly, flexibly and promptly. Security camera system connected to the village is installed in 8/8 villages and key locations on National Highway 47C, office areas, schools, historical sites...

Thanks to that, many fields have applied information technology and science and technology, bringing efficiency in production and business, contributing to improving the lives and enjoyment of the people."

Along with Van Son commune, communes and towns in the district have also promoted digital transformation. Up to now, 100% of Party, government, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels in the district have been connected through the document management software system and work records to exchange electronic documents. 100% of district People's Committee meetings are held online.

Up to now, 100% of enterprises operating in the district use digital platforms in management, production and business activities. 35/35 OCOP products with traceability stamps, promotional and introductory information have been posted on the e-commerce platform voso, postmart and the province's safe agricultural products information page. 100% of villages and residential groups have fiber optic broadband network infrastructure. The rate of households with internet connection is 87%. 76.7% of the population aged 15 and over have electronic payment accounts... With the achieved results, Trieu Son district ranked 7th in the province in the assessment and ranking of the level of digital transformation by the People's Committees at the district level in the province.

Vice Chairman of Trieu Son District People's Committee Le Phu Quoc said: "Determining digital transformation as an important task, Trieu Son District People's Committee has focused on developing and promulgating programs/projects/plans to promote digital transformation, while promoting investment in digital infrastructure, focusing on implementing the contents of digital government, digital economy, and digital society. The results achieved in digital transformation in the district have affirmed the determination and drastic direction, management, and implementation of Party committees and authorities at all levels and the consensus of the people in performing the tasks".

To complete the digital transformation targets, the district has proactively followed the documents and instructions of the superiors on digital transformation, thereby issuing many policies and programs on digital transformation. The implementation of digital transformation tasks is linked to the implementation of professional tasks and the actual situation of the locality and unit; regularly improving the District Digital Transformation Steering Committee and community digital technology groups in communes and towns. To date, the district has 254 digital technology groups with 769 members participating.

Identifying people as both the subject, resource and beneficiary, the district has promoted propaganda to raise awareness of cadres, civil servants, public employees and people of all walks of life in the area about digital transformation. Policies, programs and contents on digital transformation are widely disseminated on the district and commune radio system, fanpages, electronic information pages, conferences, meetings and online conferences of the district and communes. With the goal of building a digital government to lead the digital transformation in the area, the District People's Committee has promoted the transformation of State management activities from traditional methods to the application of information technology. Implementing digital economic development, the district directed specialized units to coordinate with VNPT Thanh Hoa to support enterprises, cooperatives, and individual business households to participate in the Thanh Hoa agricultural product e-commerce platform, put the district's OCOP products on the e-commerce platform and support the provision of traceability stamps for the district's OCOP products. At the same time, mobilize enterprises, production and business households to use electronic invoices, use digital platforms, applications, and accounting software in production and business.

Regarding the development of digital society, the district guides and supports people to apply information technology, use online public services at level 3 and level 4, make cashless payments, and encourage people to open electronic payment accounts; the education sector effectively deploys educational quality assessment software, installs vnEdu Teacher and vnEdu Connect applications to support teachers and parents in updating information and interacting between schools and families. Residential groups and locations with complex security issues are equipped with cameras for monitoring and supporting the maintenance of security and order...
