Binh Duong and CAHN have no chance to compete for the V-League championship this season but are both sure of staying in the league. For the police team, Coach Polking's team is actively accumulating points in the remaining 4 rounds to enter the top 3. CAHN Club is temporarily in 5th place on the rankings with 33 points, 5 points behind the top 3 but still has 2 matches left to play.

If they win the two make-up matches, Quang Hai and his teammates will surpass The Cong Viettel to reach the position for the bronze medal team. However, the two opponents in the make-up round of CAHN are both "tough" teams, namely Binh Duong and Binh Dinh.

Binh Duong FC turned away fans with their unconvincing performance in the V-League this season. Despite having many national team players, the Go Dau team lacked cohesion, played with a low spirit, and easily gave up. Binh Duong's goal of competing for the V-League "throne" quickly failed when they continuously lost points from the end of the first leg of the tournament.

Although Binh Duong Club has changed the head coach twice, the young strategists Nguyen Cong Manh and Nguyen Anh Duc have not been able to revive the performance of the team from Thu Dau Mot. After 23 matches, Binh Duong is ranked 8th, 17 points behind the leading team. Notably, the main striker Nguyen Tien Linh "failed to score" which was also the time when Binh Duong's performance declined.

After 7 matches of draws and losses, coach Nguyen Anh Duc's team had their first victory when they defeated Ho Chi Minh City FC with a score of 2-0 at Thong Nhat Stadium on May 23. This result helped Binh Duong successfully stay in the league 3 rounds early and also made fans less disappointed.

To maintain morale under coach Anh Duc, as well as improve their position on the overall rankings, the Go Dau home team aims to win 3 points when hosting CAHN. In terms of reputation, Binh Duong's squad possesses many stars no less than CAHN. The duo Que Ngoc Hai and Nguyen Tien Linh also want to shine in a high-quality match, taking place at home, to improve their performance and regain their competitive spirit.

Tien Linh was at one point leading the list of "Top scorers" of the V-League this season but gradually fell behind his colleague Lucao ( Hai Phong ) because he only had 1 goal after 9 consecutive matches. Scoring against CAHN is also a way to help Tien Linh relieve pressure and regain a sense of balance before joining the Vietnam team to compete during FIFA Days in June 2025.

CAHN Club is also a competitor for the National Cup title this time with Binh Duong. The two teams will enter the final of the tournament if Binh Duong wins against SLNA and CAHN overcomes The Cong Viettel in the semi-finals. Defeating the opponent is also a way for the winning team to show its position on the map of Vietnamese football. Compared to Binh Duong, CAHN is at a disadvantage when having to play on the opponent's field and has a shortage of human resources due to the high frequency of matches.
