On the morning of May 25, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Central Agencies held a forum "Ho Chi Minh Thoughts, Ethics, and Style - Values in building a contingent of young cadres and civil servants in the current period" on the occasion of the 5rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.
Attending the forum were leaders of the Party Committee of Central Agencies and 75 delegates who are excellent youth union members in the advisory agencies of the Party, the Government, the National Assembly, scientific research agencies, the press, and mass organizations in Central.
At the forum, Mr. Nguyen Quang Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Agencies, shared that President Ho Chi Minh is a genius leader of our Party, State and People, a great teacher of the revolution, a hero of national liberation, and an outstanding culturalist of Vietnam.
He once advised: fostering the revolutionary generation for the next life is a necessary job and "needs to take care of educating revolutionary morals for young people, training them to become the successors to building socialism both pink and professional. His teachings are still valid today. His wishes have always been the driving force for our efforts and actions," Truong emphasized.
Also at the forum, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Thao, senior lecturer, former deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, recalled sayings, fundamental views and strategies about the care for young cadres that President Ho Chi Minh left for the entire Party and people before leaving.
Assoc. Prof - Dr. Nguyen Viet Thao said that Uncle paid special attention to the young generation, young cadres, and young people across the country. Uncle wrote in his will: "Training and fostering the revolutionary generation for the next generation is a very important and necessary job." The revolutionary generation for the next generation is the youth union team, the young people today.
“For the youth in general, Uncle Ho advised and desired many things. Uncle advises young people to never stop learning. Therefore, in order to successfully complete the task, we need to hone, practice, commit ourselves in each situation, learn for life to constantly improve our knowledge, awareness, and wisdom", emphasized PSG - Dr.
According to PSG - Dr. Nguyen Viet Thao, in addition to striving and training, President Ho Chi Minh advised the young generation to know how to make sacrifices. Young cadres must ask the question "what have I done for the Fatherland and the revolution" rather than the question "What has the fatherland and revolution gained for me".
At the forum, Dr. Nguyen Thu Huyen, a lecturer at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, presented his opinion on the topic of "learning" of cadres in Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
According to Dr. Nguyen Thu Huyen, from the advice of President Ho Chi Minh, the first purpose of studying is "learning to work", which means learning to improve skills, ability and problem-solving skills in practice. The purpose of studying is not to pass exams or exams or simply to get a degree.
“For the teaching staff, I personally always uphold the spirit of discipline, honesty, real learning, real work and a spirit of progress. Studying is also the first and lifelong job of a teaching staff,” said Dr. Nguyen Thu Huyen.
A female lecturer at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics shared that the second purpose of learning is "learning to be human" because we are not born to be automatically human with the fullest meaning. We need to learn a lot, the most simple are skills, human needs such as eating, sleeping, talking... And "learning to be human" is the highest and most difficult goal that each person must achieve.
The third purpose is "learning to be a cadre", looking at this, it can be seen that in order to be an cadre, we must know how to work and be human. Knowing how to work requires qualifications and expertise, knowing how to be a person must have qualities and ethics.
“Therefore, we always define learning as both a right and a mandatory obligation and must also become a routine, regulation, regime and self-necessity. Current practice shows that there are many officials who are studying for their degrees, studying to standardize their titles. All of this is against the purpose of President Ho Chi Minh and needs criticism and correction," emphasized Dr.
