On the morning of August 23rd, Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport announced the cutoff scores for admission based on the 2023 high school graduation exam results.

Accordingly, the highest admission score for the school is 25.65, including the following majors: Information Technology, Transportation Management (specializing in Logistics Management and Multimodal Transportation...).
Notably, the cutoff scores for most majors have surged compared to the previous year, with some increasing by as much as 10 points. For example, the Transportation Management major (specializing in transportation management and business) has a cutoff score of 24.75 this year, while it was only 15 points last year. Electronic and telecommunications engineering and transportation economics (specializing in maritime transport economics) also jumped from 15 to 24.75. In particular, the Control and Automation Engineering major increased by 10 points, from 15 in 2022 to 25 this year. Many other majors saw cutoff scores increase by 7-8 points compared to 2022.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, before 5 PM on August 24th, universities will enter the admission scores and selection results into the system to announce the results of the first round of admissions.
From August 24th to before 5 PM on September 8th, candidates must confirm their enrollment on the Ministry of Education and Training's system. All successful candidates must confirm their enrollment. Failure to confirm enrollment within the specified time will result in the candidates being considered to have declined enrollment and removed from the list of successful candidates.
