(NLDO) - During the November 20th stock market session, capital flowed in to buy stocks at their lowest prices and this trend may not stop in the next session.

On November 20th, banking and real estate stocks all rose in price.

Continuing its downward trend from the previous session, the VN-Index opened in the red on November 20th with selling pressure intensifying.

Less than an hour into the first trading session, the general index fell below the 1,200-point mark, and the low price levels attracted bargain-hunting buying of stocks.

This momentum helped the market narrow its losses and regain positive territory. Many sectors showed impressive signs of recovery, most notably banking and real estate, which rose by 0.95% and 1.59% respectively.

Increased short-term profit-taking in the latter half of the afternoon session narrowed the overall index's gains, but it still maintained a fairly good recovery momentum until the end of the session.

In this context, contrary to the domestic capital flow, foreign investors continued to net sell with a total value of nearly 1,193 billion VND, focusing their selling on stocks such as VHM,FPT , MSB, etc.

At the close of trading, the VN-Index settled at 1,216, up 11 points, or 0.9%.

Given the above developments, VCBS Securities Company recommends that investors take advantage of market fluctuations to gradually disburse funds into stocks that maintain an upward trend, and limit increasing their holdings in stocks that have not yet attracted impressive demand. In particular, investors should adhere to the rule of taking profits or cutting losses when the market has not yet fully confirmed a convincing recovery.

Meanwhile, Rong Viet Securities (VDSC) reported that liquidity on November 20th increased compared to the previous session. This indicates that capital flows actively supported the market. However, the supply of shares remains under pressure as the market recovers quickly. This trend may continue in the next session, but strong competition is expected during the upward movement, especially at the resistance level of 1,225 – 1,230 points.

"Investors may consider taking profits during rallies, while observing the flow of money in the coming period. Because the market's stability is very low and risks remain, it is necessary to avoid falling into an overbought state," VDSC advised.
