The Road of Unity in Construction

People of Lung Quan village, Kien Thiet commune join hands to build rural concrete roads.

The rural concrete road, more than 120 m long, to the Nam Bo Kindergarten, put into use in early August 2025, marks the consensus, solidarity and determination of the staff, organizations in the village, the support of benefactors and the spirit of solidarity of the people.

Comrade Ma Van Long, Secretary of the Nam Bo village Party Cell, said: “The village currently has 143 households, over 600 people. The desire to have a new road has been cherished for many years, but due to lack of funds, it has not been implemented. Therefore, when there was a policy to build a rural concrete road, the village Party Cell coordinated with the Front Work Committee to organize propaganda and mobilize people to join hands and contribute. After only 1 week of launching, the village has socialized more than 30 million VND. The road has made the village greener, cleaner and more beautiful day by day.”

In Lung Quan village, the rural concrete solidarity road, which is more than 330m long, 3.5m wide, and has a concrete surface of 18cm thick, will be completed and put into use this December. Ms. Truong Thi Hang, Head of the Village Front Committee, excitedly said: "When we heard that the village was supported to build the road, the Village Front Committee held a meeting to discuss and mobilize people to participate. The people responded enthusiastically and the working spirit in the past days shows that everyone shares the same goal of completing the new road. In particular, in addition to the support of agencies and businesses, the village also mobilized households: Dang Van Manh, Dang Van Hung, Dang Van Toan and the people to support 40 million VND".

As one of the three households supporting money to build a rural concrete road, Mr. Dang Manh Hung, Lung Quan village said: “This road is very important to our village. Therefore, when there was a policy to build a road, my family was willing to support money and contribute working days.”

Ms. Vu Thi Toan, Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Thiet Commune, said: “The Fatherland Front of the commune has promoted its role and functions, coordinated well in propaganda and mobilization work so that people can clearly understand the policies, purposes as well as the role of the subject in implementing the new rural construction. In particular, the Fatherland Front of the commune has mobilized businesses and philanthropists to join hands in socializing the construction of over 550m of rural concrete roads in Nam Bo and Lung Quan villages, with a total cost of over 450 million VND and over 100 working days. In particular, the Youth Union of VietinBank Tuyen Quang, Song Lo Tea Joint Stock Company, Hoang Son Construction and Transport Company Limited; Dong Bac One Member Company Limited; VietinBank Tuyen Quang Insurance Company; Hanoi University of Economics and Industrial Technology, supported over 150 million VND and road construction materials. These are called the roads of solidarity from the People”.
