Nguyen Ngoc My Anh, daughter of businessman Thuy, has just been appointed as Assistant General Director of Sacombank. This Gen Z businesswoman previously ran ThaiSpace and served as President of Ninh Binh Football Club.

Sacombank (HoSE: STB), a commercial joint-stock bank, has appointed Nguyen Ngoc My Anh, born in 2001, as Assistant General Director in the bank's administrative office, effective June 4th. She is one of the youngest personnel to join the bank's executive team recently.

Nguyen Ngoc My Anh is the eldest daughter of Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy (Chairman Thuy), the Standing Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sacombank.

At the same time, her younger brother, Nguyen Xuan Thai, was also appointed to the position of assistant to the Board of Directors in the bank's administration office. The decisions took effect on June 4th.

Prior to joining Sacombank, My Anh was known for her leadership roles at various businesses within the ecosystem associated with the Thuy family.

In 2021, when ThaiSpace was established with an initial registered capital of VND 26.688 billion and pursuing the ambition to develop space tourism in Vietnam, My Anh owned nearly VND 2.669 billion in contributed capital, equivalent to 10% of the company's charter capital. Subsequently, she assumed the position of General Director and legal representative of ThaiSpace when she was just over 20 years old.

According to recently published documents, My Anh currently owns 5% of the charter capital of ThaiSpace. In addition, she is also a major shareholder of LPBank Securities Company (LPBS), holding over 190 million shares, equivalent to 15% of the charter capital. With the offering price of VND 30,000 per share in LPBS's IPO, this stake is estimated to be worth approximately VND 5,700 billion .

Besides her involvement in finance and investment, My Anh has also attracted attention in the world of football. In August 2025, she was introduced as the President of Ninh Binh Club before the 2025-2026 season. At that time, at the age of 24, My Anh became one of the youngest club presidents in Vietnamese professional football.

Regarding her education, My Anh moved to the United States to study in 2013. While attending Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Washington State, she received the Honors Award for Diligence, recognizing outstanding academic achievement and dedication to learning.

The appointment of My Anh as Assistant General Director comes as Sacombank is continuously restructuring its senior management team after Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy transferred from LPBank to this bank and assumed the position of General Director in March of this year.
