Stepmother's child

Putting aside the "one-night stand" drama, this week's episode of "The Golden Age - Part 2" will take viewers to the stepmother-stepdaughter battle between Mrs. Tran Hong An and Ma-Ko. The two constantly seek each other's weaknesses to bring each other down. And, when she accidentally uncovers another's secret, Ma-Ko cleverly puts her stepmother in a difficult situation.

Ma-Ko overheard her stepmother's secret.

This might seem like a minor issue in life, but in a relationship rife with conflicting interests, it becomes an opportunity for a scheming person.

It all started when Ma-Ko overheard a secret conversation between Hong An and her close friend, My Hue, about her illegitimate daughter. Because Hong An had concealed the fact that she had a child from a previous relationship since becoming Chairman Truong's mistress, Ma-Ko used this secret to attack her.

Although they had never met before, Ma-Ko's cunning tricked My Hue into believing him and being used as a "witness." Her stepson's cleverness put Hong An in a difficult position.

A plot twist from the "witness"

"The wealthy elite are as deep as the ocean" is truly accurate! Just to get her stepmother out of the Zhang family, Ma-Ko didn't hesitate to bring Mrs. Mei Hui and Ruby—whom Ma-Ko suspected was Mrs. Hong An's illegitimate child—to the office for a confrontation.

Trusting his son and enraged by Hong An's deception, Mr. Ban issued an ultimatum: "If you don't explain everything clearly, don't ever set foot in Bach Phuc again!"

The chance of reuniting with her daughter versus the risk of losing everything she had painstakingly built up within the Truong family presented Hong An with a difficult choice.

The atmosphere grew increasingly tense, and Ma-Ko's deceitful gaze grew more triumphant. All of this made Mrs. My Hue realize her close friend was in a precarious situation. And, she quickly turned the tables with a plot twist that stunned the audience: "That child isn't Hong An's biological son!"
