Announcing the certification mark "Y Tý Tourism"

On the morning of November 28, 2025, in Y Tý commune, the Department of Science and Technology of Lao Cai province, in coordination with the Innovation Department (Ministry of Science and Technology), organized the announcement of the "Y Tý Tourism" certification mark and provided training to enhance community tourism skills for local officials and residents. This activity is part of the Project to Support Tourism Development Linked to Innovation in Y Tý Commune.

Attending the announcement ceremony were representatives from the Department of Science and Technology of Lao Cai province; the Innovation Support Center (under the Innovation Department, Ministry of Science and Technology ); and representatives from the Party Committee and People's Committee of Y Ty commune.

At the announcement ceremony, representatives from the Lao Cai Department of Science and Technology announced the certification mark "Y Ty Tourism"; simultaneously affirming that Y Ty commune has many potentials and strengths for tourism development and is an attractive destination for many tourists. This is an important tool to promote the image of Y Ty to domestic and international tourists, creating a brand value for community tourism in Y Ty commune.

The training content focuses on methods for managing, using, and exploiting the value of the "Y Tý Tourism" certification mark; skills in welcoming tourists and developing distinctive tourism products; communication and promotion skills, and civilized behavior towards tourists; and knowledge about tourism development and the preservation of ethnic cultural identity.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, the leader of the Y Tý Commune People's Committee affirmed that being granted the "Y Tý Tourism" certification mark is of great significance, creating a foundation for the locality to improve service quality and build a professional, friendly, and distinctive image of "Y Tý Tourism". Through this, it contributes to promoting community tourism development associated with innovation, aiming to build Y Tý into an attractive and unique tourist destination of the province in the future.
