The website offers various display options and supports printing map images. Users can also enable GPS location services to search for information based on their current location.

Vietnam Post 's tools for delivery

To avoid disruptions and errors in the postal processing, Vietnam Post has developed an automatic conversion tool between old and new addresses at: https://diachi.vnpost.vn, allowing users to use both address formats.

Accordingly, the system will automatically map between the old and new addresses, making it easy for users to operate. This is a very convenient tool that allows for flexible order processing, whether with Excel files or API connections. Currently, the tool has been directly integrated into the My Vietnam Post application.

According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Long, Director of the Network Operations Center, Vietnam Post currently possesses a massive digital address database with over 23 million addresses, built, collected, and standardized over many years. This is a crucial foundation that helps the Corporation effectively implement solutions to adapt to changes in administrative boundaries from July 1, 2025.

“As the new administrative address system encompasses a broader scope following the merger of provinces and cities, Vietnam Post's digital address system continues to play a crucial role, facilitating convenient lookups and effectively supporting production, business operations, service provision, and public administration activities. Changing local names will no longer be a concern for citizens or businesses – whether in remote areas or major cities,” Mr. Long shared.

All operational software, including receiving, sorting, routing, and delivering mail, has been upgraded synchronously. The corporation stated that it has conducted nationwide system testing and trained 100% of its staff and postal workers at service points to master the address processing procedures according to the new catalog. Simultaneously, citizens are also provided with direct guidance at transaction points or through the post office's official application, website, and social media.
