In the final months of the year, industrial production in Tuyen Quang showed strong growth, confirming the province's correct development direction. Instead of spreading resources thinly, Tuyen Quang focused on key industries with high added value, creating new momentum for the entire sector, including: electronics and optics, textiles, wood processing and furniture, agricultural and forestry product processing, and renewable energy.

Promote suitable products.

In the first 11 months of 2025, the value of industrial production is estimated to reach VND 30,196 billion, an increase of 21.8% compared to the same period in 2024 and achieving 90.4% of the 2025 plan. More noteworthy is the strong growth rate in modern industries. Electronics, computers, and optics increased by 76.88%; textiles and garments increased by 63.76%, continuing to be a key export sector; leather production increased by 22.75%, expanding its market share steadily. Furniture wood products increased by 28.35% thanks to the advantage of raw material sources and market demand. Food processing increased by 5.94%, maintaining its role as a foundational industry, making a significant contribution to exports and domestic consumption.

Wood processing is considered the "backbone" of the industry. Currently, the province has more than 500 wood processing facilities, including 8 large enterprises with a capacity of 20,000-130,000 m2/year. Tuyen Quang's wood products such as furniture, plywood, wood pellets, etc., have entered many demanding markets such as the US, Japan, and the EU.

Mr. Le Quang Khanh, Director of Woodsland Tuyen Quang Joint Stock Company, informed: In 2025, adapting to the export market, the company continuously changed product designs according to each partner's order requirements, and constantly innovated technology to better meet quality standards. As a result, the company has received more orders from Europe, and is not heavily dependent on orders from the US. To date, the company has orders for the entire year of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, and the revenue target of 2,000 billion VND will be achieved.

Infrastructure and policies create a strong attraction.

To create a foundation for rapid industrial development, the province is continuously improving the investment environment, supporting businesses in expanding production, and especially investing in industrial infrastructure. Tuyen Quang is accelerating the completion of industrial zones and clusters: Long Binh An Industrial Park, Binh Vang Industrial Park, Thanh Thuy Border Gate Economic Zone, Phuc Ung 2 Industrial Cluster, Xuan Van Industrial Cluster, Nhu Khe Industrial Cluster… ensuring synchronized transportation, electricity, water, and telecommunications.

Specifically, Phuc Ung 2 Industrial Cluster is proposed to be developed into the province's first smart industrial cluster – a model for managing and applying digital technology , optimizing operations, reducing production costs, and improving environmental efficiency. This is a suitable direction in the process of industrial digital transformation, creating new competitive advantages for businesses participating in the supply chain.
Thanks to improved infrastructure and favorable policies, the province has attracted 9 investment projects with a total registered capital of over 3,508 billion VND. Many projects have a significant impact on the industrial structure: Tuyen Quang Biomass Power Plant; Tuyen Quang - Trung Son Compressed Coal Pellet Plant; Eyeglass and Packaging Box Manufacturing Plant; Plush Toy Factory; Ha Giang VDL Board Processing Plant…

According to Mr. Hoang Duc Tien, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, after the merger of the two provinces, the department reviewed the entire industrial cluster planning, retaining only those that were effective and adding specialized industrial clusters serving the processing of agricultural and forestry products, medicinal herbs, and high-tech products in the 2025-2030 period. In addition, the province continues to implement the Industrial Promotion Program 2021-2025, supporting businesses in applying advanced technology, innovating production lines, designing packaging, improving products, digital transformation, and cleaner production. These solutions not only alleviate difficulties for businesses but also create a transparent and stable business environment, helping investors feel secure in investing in Tuyen Quang.

To ensure that industry truly becomes a pillar of growth, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has set several key tasks: Comprehensively improving the infrastructure of industrial parks and clusters, prioritizing high-tech and clean industry projects. Strongly developing key industries, especially electronics and high technology, renewable energy, wood processing, and agricultural and forestry products. Encouraging circular economy models, waste reuse, and energy saving in production. Promoting digital transformation and building smart factory models in industrial clusters. Developing high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of modern production. Continuing to significantly improve the investment environment and supporting businesses from the survey stage to project operation.

With a "leading industry as the driving force" approach, along with clear direction and decisive leadership, Tuyen Quang's industry is poised for a strong breakthrough. This will be a crucial driving force for the province's rapid and sustainable development, creating a foundation for industry to truly become the main growth engine in the coming years.
