Seven more OCOP 3-star products recognized.

The People's Committee of Phan Thiet City recently held a conference to announce and award certificates to entities with OCOP products that have achieved 3-star ranking in the city.

Accordingly, the Head of the Economic Department announced the City People's Committee's decision to recognize 7 OCOP products as achieving 3 stars from 3 entities, including: Ba Hai MS40A fish sauce and COOP SELECT fish sauce - Ba Hai Fish Sauce Co., Ltd. (Phu Hai ward); dried white-fleshed dragon fruit and dried red-fleshed dragon fruit - Huy Hoang Food Technology Company (Phong Nam commune); chili sauce, black bean sauce and tomato sauce - Hoa Sen business household (Tien Thanh commune). Thus, to date, the entire city has 35 OCOP products certified with rankings from 3 to 5 stars, including 12 3-star products, 21 4-star products and 2 5-star products.

Mr. Le Van Chon, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City, presented certificates to the recipients.

Presiding over the ceremony to announce and award certificates, Vice Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee Le Van Chon emphasized: The OCOP program has been identified by the Prime Minister as one of the important solutions, not only contributing to increasing income for communes building new rural areas but also as a solution for socio-economic development for localities. Therefore, it requires the joint efforts and support of various departments and agencies; the proactive and positive response, creativity, and research of businesses, cooperatives, and individual households participating in the OCOP program to create diversity in product categories and types in Phan Thiet City. The Vice Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee congratulated the entities whose products achieved 3-star OCOP certification this time; and urged them to strive to improve their products to reach 4-star status in the near future.
