Algerian company is inviting bids for 2136 containers.

As part of its plan to expand its scale, enhance its logistics capabilities, and modernize its fleet, Madar Maritime Company, a subsidiary of the Algerian state-owned corporation Madar Holding, has launched a tender to purchase 2,136 containers of various sizes.

This tender involves four different lots of containers. The first lot consists of 1036 standard TEU containers, each 20 feet long. The second lot comprises 900 high-cube FEU containers, each 40 feet in length, equipped with a refrigeration system. The third lot includes 100 standard TEU refrigerated containers, while the fourth lot consists of 100 high-cube FEU refrigerated containers for transporting products requiring strict temperature control.

Interested businesses need to register on the company's official website ( www.madar-maritime.com ). Once approved, businesses will receive a link to download the technical documentation. The deadline for submitting bids is April 27, 2025, with the organizers opening the envelopes on the same day.

Established in August 2024 with an initial capital of approximately US$30 million, Madar Maritime Company specializes in maritime transport and logistics. The company aims to expand Algeria's fleet by developing new capabilities.
