On the afternoon of June 29, SSI Securities Corporation (SSI Securities) officially spoke out about the company recently receiving continuous reports about impersonation to solicit loans and financial support to commit fraud and property appropriation.
Specifically, the scammers used images, logos, information, and real addresses (SSI Nguyen Van Cu Transaction Office) of SSI Securities to post on fake websites, fanpages, and applications with many names such as: SSI Finance, 379 unsecured financial support, SSI 24/24 loan support, etc.
SSI information warns investors
An example of a fake website is: https://ssi-vn-1288.vip/index.php?m=User&a=login.
In addition, scammers use automatic switchboards, specifically the numbers: 02899962836, 02998883338,... to solicit customers.
The scammers target people who need quick loans, have bad debts and are unable to borrow from reputable financial institutions. Then, they ask them to transfer money to personal accounts to complete the bad debt clearance procedure. After receiving the money, these scammers will cut off contact with the victims.
SSI Securities affirms that the company does not operate in the field of capital lending and financial support, nor does it make automated survey calls.
To prevent fraudulent activities, SSI Securities recommends that investors do not trade on suspected fake applications; do not transfer money to personal accounts claiming to be SSI employees; do not provide account numbers or OTP codes to anyone; do not sign investment/loan contracts without confirming information with the company.
Investors should immediately contact local authorities to provide information when encountering scams.
