Mr. Le Hong Giang, Director of Viettel Logistics Park Lang Son branch, shared that along with investing in the Dong Dang bonded warehouse with a scale of 5,880 m² of warehouse space and 8,700 m² of bonded yard right within the Viettel Logistics Park Lang Son area, over the past year, Viettel Poss has continuously invested in infrastructure and upgraded the quality of logistics services at Viettel Logistics Park Lang Son.
Currently, Viettel Lang Son Logistics Park operates on a comprehensive digital ecosystem, enabling it to proactively optimize, forecast, and coordinate the flow of vehicles, goods, and warehouses in real time. Automated identification of vehicle license plates, cargo codes, container status, etc., improves processing speed, transparency, and operational safety.
One of the highlights is the ability to connect data directly with the Vietnamese and Chinese customs systems. The system allows for automatic processing – green, yellow, or red – based on electronic declaration data, helping to shorten waiting times and optimize the customs clearance process.
Thanks to its advanced technology platform and synchronized infrastructure, Viettel Lang Son Logistics Park is currently capable of processing and completing customs clearance procedures for over 500 import and export vehicles, accounting for approximately 30% of the total number of export vehicles passing through Lang Son province each day. At the same time, it helps businesses save up to 40% on logistics costs compared to traditional methods.
Mr. Vu Ngoc Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sao Viet Machinery Import-Export Joint Stock Company ( Hanoi ), shared: "Our company regularly processes customs declarations and inspections of goods through the Viettel Logistics Park in Lang Son. All shipments brought here follow the correct procedures for declaration and loading in a seamless chain, directly connecting data with the Vietnamese and Chinese customs systems. This has helped reduce waiting times and optimize customs clearance processes, thereby reducing operating costs and increasing the efficiency of goods circulation for the business."
In practice, the presence of the Viettel Lang Son Logistics Park has significantly contributed to improving customs clearance capacity at the province's border gates. Specifically, in 2024, the average number of import and export cargo vehicles passing through Lang Son's border gates reached 1,300 vehicles/day (peaking at nearly 1,500 vehicles/day); the total import and export turnover of all types reached over 66 billion USD. In 2025, the average number of import and export cargo vehicles passing through Lang Son's border gates is expected to reach 1,700 vehicles/day (peaking at up to 2,000 vehicles/day); the total import and export turnover of all types is expected to reach over 95 billion USD.
Mr. Vu Quang Khanh, Deputy Head of the Management Board of the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Economic Zone, said that after one year of operation, the Viettel Lang Son Logistics Park has affirmed its role as a central hub for coordinating import and export goods in the province's border economic zone. Most noticeably, the expanded container yard within the park now accommodates approximately 3,000 vehicles, helping to reduce the volume of import and export goods entering and exiting the Huu Nghi, Coc Nam, and Tan Thanh International Border Gates, thereby alleviating traffic congestion at the province's border gates.
Reportedly, Viettel Post is continuing to invest in expanding the ICD (inland container depot) port, deploying a cross-border railway line, developing export processing zones, and upgrading its warehousing system to international standards. This will make the Viettel Lang Son Logistics Park a key link in the interconnected logistics corridor between Vietnam, China, and ASEAN.
