Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan, Head of the Economic Department of Hoa Binh Commune, clarified some issues of concern to voters within his jurisdiction.
Voters in Hoa Binh commune expressed their opinions at the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Pham Van Thieu, stated that the voters' opinions were very valid and based on reality. He requested that relevant agencies and localities consider, resolve, and provide satisfactory answers. He also requested that localities review how many roads in the area still lack streetlights so that they can be installed soon to serve the people; and to pay attention to resolving people's livelihood issues and building a proactive and service-oriented government.
* Also this afternoon, Comrade Bui Tan Bay, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, along with members of the Provincial People's Council delegation, held a meeting with voters in Ninh Quoi commune.
During the meeting, eight voters raised numerous issues directly related to their lives and production. Many opinions reflected concerns about the rising prices of fertilizers and agricultural supplies, which increased production costs. Voters also requested consideration of increasing allowances for part-time officials at the grassroots level, and improving the benefits for part-time officials after their retirement due to the reorganization of hamlets, especially those who have dedicated many years to the local community.
Comrade Bui Tan Bay, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, answered questions and addressed suggestions from voters.
In addition, voters reflected on the situation where some households are still raising pigs and building toilets over the river, causing environmental pollution. The use of portable loudspeakers with high volume is causing resentment in the community. They requested that relevant agencies promptly resolve the complaints and denunciations of the people; pay attention to investing in and upgrading the dilapidated rural transportation system; and find solutions to overcome difficulties and obstacles in implementing land procedures. Mr. Huynh Minh Hong (a voter from Ninh Thuan hamlet) suggested considering solutions to stabilize the prices of agricultural supplies; increasing the allowance for part-time officials at the grassroots level; and paying attention to the benefits and policies for part-time officials after they retire.
Mr. Diep Quoc Khuong (a voter from Ninh Chai hamlet) suggested that the government should re-plan the production area to increase people's income.
Mr. Nguyen Toan An (a voter from Ninh Loi hamlet) reported that some households are still raising pigs and building toilets over the river, causing environmental pollution; and that karaoke singing using portable speakers is causing noise pollution. He also requested that the authorities promptly address the complaints and denunciations from the people.
After listening to the opinions and suggestions of the voters, representatives of the relevant agencies and local authorities explained and clarified some issues within their jurisdiction.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Bui Tan Bay, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, acknowledged the heartfelt and practical opinions of the voters. He requested that departments, agencies, and localities continue to pay attention to and promptly address the legitimate requests of the people. For issues within their authority, they should proactively review and handle them according to regulations; issues beyond their authority will be compiled and forwarded to relevant agencies for consideration and resolution, meeting the legitimate aspirations of the voters.
