At the meeting, voter Cao Xuan Tam, head of Van Nam hamlet in Binh Hop commune, reported that many units are exploiting sand and gravel along the Con River in the area. However, excessive sand and gravel mining can cause changes in the river's flow, erosion, lowering of the riverbed, and negative impacts on infrastructure and the livelihoods of local people. Therefore, Mr. Cao Xuan Tam requested that the relevant authorities promptly develop a plan to address this issue.

Sharing the same opinion, another voter stated that the people of Binh Hop commune are primarily engaged in agriculture, and in recent years have been negatively affected by sand and gravel mining in the area. Therefore, the voter suggested that before granting mining permits, the competent authorities should carefully consider the local conditions and the impact on the people, avoiding negative effects on their lives.

Speaking at the conference, voter Dang Van Dung from Hamlet 1, Binh Hop Commune, stated that Decree No. 64/ND-CP on allocating agricultural land to households and individuals for stable, long-term use for agricultural production purposes, issued 32 years ago, has many provisions that are no longer suitable for current practice. Therefore, the voter requested that Decree No. 64/ND-CP be amended soon to reflect the current reality.

Voters in Binh Hop commune also raised concerns about oversized and overloaded vehicles spilling materials onto roads, endangering road users. In addition, voters also reflected on many issues related to land procedures; benefits for war veterans; security and order in the area; job placement for civil servants, especially non-specialized commune-level officials after the merger; and accelerating the progress of the Ban Mong Reservoir Project.
