Voters in Ho Chi Minh City happily go to the polls.

(NLDO) - Ho Chi Minh City has nearly 9.7 million voters participating in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

This morning, March 15th, along with the rest of the country, nearly 9.7 million voters in Ho Chi Minh City participated in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and representatives to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

According to Resolution No. 85 of the National Election Council, Ho Chi Minh City has 13 electoral districts and the number of National Assembly deputies elected for the 16th term is 38.

Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City has 42 electoral districts for electing City People's Council representatives, with a total of 125 representatives to be elected, each district electing 2-3 representatives.
