The Customs Department has a new deputy director.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The Customs Department has a new deputy director, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, effective October 15th. Mr. Hung is the Deputy Director of the Department of Management and Supervision of Tax, Fee and Charge Policies (Ministry of Finance).

On October 15th, the Customs Department announced information regarding the transfer and appointment of a deputy director of the Customs Department.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Tax, Fee and Charge Policy Management and Supervision ( Ministry of Finance ), has been appointed Deputy Director of the Customs Department effective October 15th.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, born in 1976, is from Thanh Hoa province. He holds a PhD in economics and advanced political theory qualifications.

He has held various positions in the finance and tax sectors, beginning his career in 2000 at Thang Loi Textile Company in Hanoi .

Subsequently, he held various positions: Deputy Head of the Economic Planning Department at Power Construction Company No. 4; specialist at the General Department of Taxation; Deputy Head of the Land, Resource and Other Revenue Policy Department; Deputy Head, then Head of the General Secretariat Department - Office of the Ministry of Finance; and most recently, Deputy Director of the Department of Tax, Fee and Charge Policy Supervision (Ministry of Finance) before being transferred to the Customs Department.

At the Customs Department, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho is currently the Director. The Deputy Directors are Mr. Luu Manh Tuong, Mr. Au Anh Tuan, Mr. Tran Duc Hung, and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, who were recently appointed.
