Regiment 6 is regularly assigned by the Provincial Military Command to organize field trips to do mass mobilization work, helping people in key areas, especially remote communes, revolutionary war zones, ethnic minority areas, religious areas... Every month, officers and soldiers of Regiment 6 not only help people but also directly eat, live and work with the people. The number of soldiers participating in helping people is large, mainly young soldiers.

Lieutenant Colonel Mai Luc, Political Commissar of Regiment 6, shared: To gain the trust of the people and help them with food and accommodation, we must do a good job of mass mobilization. In the process of helping people, we organize activities such as sports , cultural and artistic exchanges with local people; visit and give gifts to families with meritorious services to the revolution, and families in difficult circumstances. Through these activities, we combine to promote propaganda and mobilize people to effectively implement the Party's policies, State laws, and local regulations.

Last July, the unit had a picnic to help people in Phu Vang district. At the end of the trip, the unit received many compliments from the local Party Committee, government and people.

Doctor Tran Ngoc Quang, Head of Phu Gia Commune Health Station, Phu Vang District, said: During the days of helping people, despite the hot weather, the officers and soldiers were very enthusiastic, helping the health station complete the painting of the fence, paint the health station, organize environmental sanitation, cut grass, and plant trees in the campus.

The leaders of the A Luoi District Military Command informed that each time the unit marched to the areas, especially remote areas, to do mass mobilization work, it also posed many challenges for the officers and staff of the A Luoi District Military Command, such as how to make the people believe, love, and follow... This took a lot of time and effort because the people all had many of their own customs.

Results from the contest

In mid-September, the Provincial Military Command successfully organized the “Skillful Civil Affairs” Contest in the Provincial Armed Forces. This year, 11 teams from the armed forces of districts, towns, cities, Regiment 6 and Armored Battalion 3 participated in the contest.

Lieutenant Colonel Ho Van Hoa, Political Commissar of the A Luoi District Military Command, shared: Experience and lessons from the recent "Skillful Mass Mobilization" contest will help the unit in the coming time to have many ways to do mass mobilization activities; contribute to timely propaganda for people, especially people in remote areas, to have a deeper awareness of the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's policies and laws, the Army's tasks, the solidarity between the army and the people, about raising awareness in helping each other develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, build a cultural life, eliminate backward customs...

With Regiment 6, participating in the "Skillful Civil Affairs" contest, the unit built a concise program, leaving many emotions for the viewers. The Regiment's contest program brought the breath of youth, fully reflecting the work drawn from the process of the unit's officers and soldiers living and working together with the people.

The performances of all units are close to the situation, location and region. Many units staged programs with depth, many creative innovations, focused on investing in diverse scenarios, choosing art forms suitable to the identity of each locality. The situations in the staged skits were resolved to ensure quality, effectiveness, reason, and close to the breath of life at the grassroots level...

At the same time, it will raise awareness and responsibility for officers and soldiers in performing their tasks, thereby contributing to improving the quality of mass mobilization work in the new period…”, Colonel Ha Van Ai, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command affirmed.
