Mr. Dieu Cuong, Deputy Head of Bu Nung village, a newly established small village in the border commune of Quang Truc, happily shared that the villagers had moved into their new homes a few months ago. Sixty families, mostly young families, are welcoming their new lives. “This Bu Nung village is also our old land. Because of our nomadic lifestyle, the villagers scattered to many places. Later, when we settled down, we lived in the old Bu Nung village. With many young people getting married and having cramped living conditions, the government and Military Region 7 jointly built the new Bu Nung village. The villagers are very happy to receive new houses and return to their ancestral land. The village now has electricity and water, the roads are very nice, and life is very convenient. We can focus on our work, production, and raising our children,” Mr. Dieu Cuong confided.
Bon Bu Nung was built with 60 small, well-equipped houses, including a community center, a football field, and internal roads where children can play freely. Each house was given to a family, mostly young families. Ms. Thi Nhien, a young mother who just received a house, said that she and her family were extremely happy to receive this precious gift from the government and the army: "Now that we have a house, we just need to work hard, raise our children, build our economy , and live peacefully in the village with the army and the people. The people thank the Party, the State, and the army," Ms. Thi Nhien expressed her gratitude.

Mr. Doan Minh Thuan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Truc commune, informed that Bu Nung hamlet is part of the Border Population Stabilization Project in Quang Truc commune. The infrastructure construction was funded by Lam Dong province and Military Region 7. All 60 households are indigenous M'nong people who have lived for generations on this border land. The houses were built very quickly, and the electricity and road infrastructure were completed early by the relevant authorities, allowing the people to receive their houses right before the border rainy season. The Party and State have provided significant support to the people in building their houses and in coffee and macadamia nut production. The people are doing very well, and their production methods are very advanced, applying science and technology and mechanization to agriculture , resulting in stable income. He added that in the first six months of 2026, Quang Truc commune's budget revenue reached 170% of the assigned plan, a very proud achievement for the government and people of the entire commune.

The cherry blossom trees of Da Lat have been planted by the residents of Bu Nung village along the new residential area. Mr. Dieu Cuong extended an invitation, asking everyone to return to Bu Nung in two years to admire the cherry blossoms in full bloom on this borderland. Mr. Bao, a M'nong man, has been connected to this land since his grandparents' time. Today, the small village is being built with the support of the Party, the State, and the army, and the M'nong people are even more grateful to the Party, to Uncle Ho, and to the State. The M'nong people of Bu Nung, from the M'nong plateau, wholeheartedly followed the Party throughout the two wars of resistance and continue to be connected to the border, working together to safeguard the country's defenses.
