To preserve and promote local tourism advantages, many tourism businesses in the province are exploring and connecting to develop new, unique local tourism products.
Truong Dinh Khanh, Director of the Thanh Nien Agricultural Service and Trade Cooperative (Hang Gon Ward), hopes that after the merger, Dong Nai province will have more opportunities to develop tourism products. Living in the "fruit capital" of the Southeast region and managing the Cau Dau Glamping tourist destination, Mr. Khanh hopes that in the future there will be more tourism products that connect various destinations within the province.
Exploiting the potential for tourism development.
The Dong Nai Tourism Association (DTA) recently held a conference to finalize a plan for merging the DTA. This also provided an opportunity for tourism and travel businesses, as well as destinations in the province, to connect, exchange information, and develop tourism products.
Chairman of the Dong Nai Tourism Association, Tran Dang Ninh, stated that, based on the current situation, the merger plan between the Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc Tourism Associations is a policy consistent with the development context of tourism in the newly established Dong Nai province, while also ensuring the continued operation of the Tourism Associations. The merger process will ensure objectivity, democracy, unity, and comprehensiveness in accordance with the policies and regulations of the Party and State in the current period.

Chairman of the Dong Nai Tourism Association, Tran Dang Ninh, emphasized that the Association is coordinating with relevant units to create a digital map of Dong Nai's culinary destinations to increase interaction and promote culinary tourism. Regarding the development of new tourism products, Mr. Ninh suggested that travel agencies research new tour packages connecting tourist destinations in the former Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces, exploiting strengths such as: border exploration tours, tours connecting revolutionary sites, and digitizing some tourism products… In addition, he stressed the importance of focusing on training and developing human resources for the tourism industry.
According to Pham Huong Son, Chairman of the former Binh Phuoc Tourism Association, Dong Nai has enormous potential for tourism development. He emphasized the importance and necessity of integrating sports with tourism to create a strong and positive image of Dong Nai in the new era. Therefore, in the coming period, it is crucial to link sports activities with tourism, promote the image and people of Dong Nai, and create an environment that attracts tourism investment to the province.
According to Vu Xuan Truong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Dong Nai province is striving to achieve double-digit growth. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is also focusing on promoting tourism development to achieve the province's overall goals. Mr. Truong urged tourism businesses to work together, cooperate, and diversify their activities in the tourism sector, shaping a unique identity and building a local tourism brand based on the combined potential and strengths of Dong Nai after the merger.
