Many schools in Can Tho organize field trips to historical sites and revolutionary landmarks for students to visit and participate in "Paying Gratitude" activities during the summer.
Accordingly, the Education sector will organize review sessions, remedial classes, and re-examinations; provide advanced training for high-achieving students; offer childcare during the summer; and prepare for the high school graduation exam and university entrance exams for the 2026-2027 school year. Simultaneously, it will train teachers and prepare facilities, textbooks, and teaching equipment for the new school year.
Local educational institutions coordinate to organize a variety of summer activities such as traditional education, life skills, law, and traffic safety; visits to historical sites and revolutionary landmarks; "Gratitude and Remembrance" activities; school culture education, behavioral skills, environmental awareness, prevention and control of school violence, and adherence to the law and traffic safety. Students can participate in arts, sports, folk games, scientific research, military training camps, and summer clubs; libraries and computer rooms are also open to serve summer activities.
The plan also focuses on caring for students from disadvantaged backgrounds and students with disabilities; strengthening psychological counseling, academic support, foreign language and computer skills training; and contributing to creating a safe and healthy environment for recreation and learning during the summer.
