Da Lat, the season when the leaves change color...

While tourists are still captivated by the pink grass hills in the early morning mist, the characteristic trees of Da Lat begin to change the color of their leaves, making the misty city's streets even more romantic in the last days of the year.

While the pink grassy slopes in the suburbs are still captivating visitors in the cool morning sun, Da Lat has quietly entered another season: the season of changing leaves.

On many familiar streets around the city center, especially in the area of the old villas, the rose bushes, cherry blossoms, and maple leaves begin to turn yellow and dark red, giving the mountain town a very unique "autumn" feel at the end of the year.

Along the slopes around Xuan Huong Lake, Tran Hung Dao, Dong Da, and To Hieu streets, and in the villa areas on the high hillsides, the rose gardens, after the harvest season, have fewer fruits, leaving only green leaves that are gradually turning yellow and red.

The bare, slender tree trunks, interspersed with a few late-ripening red persimmons, create a peaceful scene reminiscent of old highland villages.

Along the streets lined with cherry blossom trees, the leaves begin to turn yellow and fade before falling off completely, preparing for a new flowering season.

In some maple-growing areas, streaks of yellow, orange, and red appear along both sides of the road, standing out against the mossy old walls of villas and small cafes.

Whether visitors are in the suburbs or the city center, it won't be too difficult to admire and photograph the scenery of trees with changing leaves.

However, the further visitors move towards the outskirts of Da Lat, the more likely they are to encounter gardens of roses, maples, and cherry blossoms whose leaves are changing color. The period during which these temperate trees of Da Lat change their leaves lasts about 2 to 3 weeks.
