On October 1st, the Vietnam Interior Design and Construction Exhibition VIBE 2025, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Handicraft and Wood Processing Association (HAWA) and the Ho Chi Minh City Construction and Building Materials Association (SACA), officially opened and will run until October 4th.

The exhibition is twice the size of last year, featuring over 550 booths across various sectors, simultaneously showcasing thousands of innovative products, groundbreaking designs, technological solutions, and trends making their debut in the domestic market. All are carefully selected, adhering to the 4S criteria: style, intelligence, sustainability, and identity.

The exhibition also showcased a range of new-generation green building materials aimed at reducing carbon emissions, such as Secoin's cold-pressed eco-bricks, Protego's environmentally friendly all-wood maintenance oil, An Design House's recycled shipwood furniture, high-tech pressed bamboo, green textiles, and comprehensive paints with a new, eco-friendly color palette.

Visitors also noticed the smart translucent glass along with the prefabricated modular Danpatherm wall system and Danpalon Microcell panels with 99.9% UV resistance, optimized for tropical climates. Or the wall and partition structures made of rustic Do paper, designed with inspiration from Vietnamese identity such as bamboo forests and bamboo houses, while other booths stood out with their integration of technology into their designs.

In addition, VIBE 2025 is also a place to update the latest interior design styles from around the world , such as Quiet Luxury, Circular Design, Biophilic Design, and Tech-integrated Living.

According to the exhibition organizers, VIBE 2025 also plays a crucial role in driving the strategic shift from OEM (Original Design Manufacturer) to ODM (Original Design Manufacturer). This is a key step towards making design the central focus to increase product value, opening up a platform for connecting 150 businesses involved in furniture manufacturing, materials, accessories, logistics, contractors, and designers. This direct connection helps businesses proactively secure raw materials, reduce production costs, and enhance capabilities.

On the same day, the 18th International Exhibition on Machine Tools and Metalworking Solutions in Vietnam (Metalex Vietnam 2025), organized by RX Tradex, was held in Ho Chi Minh City from October 1st to 3rd. The exhibition showcased a comprehensive technology ecosystem, production line upgrades, equipment investment, and digital transformation in the mechanical engineering industry (machine tools, cutting equipment, robots, measurement solutions, and intelligent data connectivity systems).
