Specifically, on August 16th, Da Nang International Airport Terminal Investment and Exploitation Joint Stock Company (AHT) officially partnered with Da Nang College of Culture and Arts to expand and revamp the "Heritage Route" art program at Da Nang International Airport Terminal 2.
Launched in December 2022, the "Heritage Route" program has become a unique cultural highlight at Terminal 2, featuring over 330 spectacular artistic performances from Thursday to Sunday every week.
The performances in the program are deeply rooted in history and regional traditions, including Tuong (classical Vietnamese opera), Hue Royal Court Music, Hue Chau Van (traditional Vietnamese folk singing), solo and ensemble performances of traditional musical instruments, and many other traditional art forms.
Popular with numerous international tourists, the "Heritage Route" program has created a vibrant cultural exchange space at Da Nang International Airport.
To build on this success, AHT decided to collaborate with the Da Nang College of Culture and Arts to improve the quality and diversify the performances.
New performances in the program will include the Hoi An lantern dance "Hoi An Street Festival Night," the zither solo "Arirang," the Apsara dance "Shining Ancient Tower," and many other acts. These will be performed at new times from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Wednesday, in addition to the current performances from Thursday to Sunday.
Representatives from the Da Nang College of Culture and Arts stated that, through this program, the school hopes to contribute to spreading the beauty of Vietnamese culture to international friends and create opportunities for students to gain practical experience and accumulate knowledge on their artistic development path. This will be a significant contribution to the future career development of the students.
The organizers expect the "Heritage Route" program to continue providing tourists with meaningful experiences before their flights, contributing to affirming Da Nang's image as an attractive and culturally rich tourist destination.
