On November 12, speaking at the seminar "Cooperation and development of the Russian - Da Nang charter market in the summer of 2026" organized by Anex Vietnam Company, Mr. Van Ba Son, Deputy Director of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang, said that in the vibrant picture of the city's tourism industry in the past 10 months, the Russian and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) tourist market has become a prominent bright spot with more than 325,000 arrivals, accounting for nearly 5% of the structure of international visitors to Da Nang.
Mr. Son commented that 2025 marked a successful CIS tourist season, when direct charter flights from Astana, Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Tashkent (Uzbekistan) were put into operation, with a total frequency of 16 flights/week, contributing to creating convenience for tourists and promoting growth from this market.

The seminar provided a lot of information about the promotion, advertising and preparation of the flight schedule from CIS, Russia to Da Nang in 2026.

Entering 2026, Da Nang City's tourism industry will continue to expand cooperation with airlines and strategic partners to maintain, increase frequency, and diversify flight routes, including charter flights from the Russian and CIS markets.
The city will also step up promotional activities, develop tourism products suitable to the needs and interests of tourists, while improving service quality and experiences, aiming for sustainable development and maintaining its position as a leading destination in the Central region of Vietnam.

Based on the effective exploitation practices in the Nha Trang - Phan Rang - Phan Thiet and Phu Quoc areas, Ms. Nguyen Thi Duyen, member of the Board of Directors of Anex Vietnam Company, shared her experience in attracting Russian guests for hotels and local service providers such as adding signs, menus, brochures, service information in Russian; training receptionists and restaurant staff to have basic communication skills in Russian; adding Russian TV channels, Russian dishes to the buffet menu; organizing small activities and events at the hotel to introduce and exchange Russian - Vietnamese culture...

"Russian tourists highly value friendliness, attentive service and the feeling of being 'welcome like at home'. These are important factors that influence the rate of return to a destination of Russian tourists," noted a representative of Anex Vietnam.
