Continuing the program of meeting with voters before the mid-year regular session of 2026, on the afternoon of June 4th, the delegation No. 1 of the Vinh Long Provincial People's Council, 11th term, 2026-2031, including delegates: Nguyen Thi Minh Trang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Chi Cuong - Deputy Head of the Economic and Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council; and delegates of Phu Quoi commune People's Council, held a meeting with approximately 100 local voters.

At the meeting, delegate Nguyen Chi Cuong reported to the voters on the results of the first session of the Provincial People's Council and the first specialized session; he also provided information on the expected content and program of the mid-year regular session of the 11th Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031. Delegates from Phu Quoi commune People's Council informed the voters about related issues and the results of addressing voters' requests from previous sessions.

Voters in Phu Quoi commune have raised concerns and requested that the province pay attention to upgrading rural roads and bridges to facilitate travel and goods transportation; review and fully implement policies and regulations for those who have contributed to the revolution; restore and preserve historical and cultural relics in the area to meet the cultural, spiritual, and religious needs of the local people; after the merger, Phu Quoi commune has many potentials and advantages for development, therefore the local government and relevant departments and levels need to have a plan to effectively exploit these strengths and avoid waste.

The delegation of the Provincial People's Council will compile all opinions and recommendations from voters to report to the competent authorities for consideration and resolution within their jurisdiction. Delegate Nguyen Thi Minh Trang requested that departments and agencies take note of and study the issues of concern to voters, thereby developing practical, effective, and timely solutions to overcome difficulties and obstacles, and promptly meet the legitimate aspirations of the people.
