Aspiration to rise
Dak Nong is a land with a long history and a long-standing cultural tradition in the Central Highlands. Based on the requirements of socio -economic development, strengthening the national defense and security potential of the Southern Central Highlands, and meeting the aspirations of the local people, at the 4th Session, the 11th National Assembly passed Resolution No. 22 on the re-establishment of Dak Nong province on the basis of separation from Dak Lak province.
Accordingly, Dak Nong province was officially re-established from January 1, 2004. This is an important milestone, opening a new chapter in the history of construction and development of this land located in the southern Central Highlands.
Immediately after the re-establishment of the province, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, with the spirit of solidarity, overcoming difficulties, innovation, creativity, especially with the spirit of "going after, surpassing the front", the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee through the terms has focused on leadership, direction, making correct decisions, mobilizing all investment resources, maximizing potential and advantages, arousing the aspirations of the people of all ethnic groups, creating momentum for Dak Nong to develop quickly and sustainably.

The economic growth rate is always high, the total product scale is 12 times larger; the total investment capital for social development is 20 times larger; the average income per capita is 13 times larger than in 2004. The potential and position of Dak Nong are affirmed, the lives of the people of all ethnic groups in the area are constantly improved.

Recently, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province held a Conference to Announce the Planning of Dak Nong province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 and Investment Promotion of Dak Nong province in 2024. The planning is built on the basis of inheriting and developing the province's viewpoints through the periods.
According to the Plan, by 2030, Dak Nong will become a fairly developed province in the Central Highlands; the infrastructure system will be invested synchronously; it will be an important gateway connecting trade between the Central Highlands and the Southeast region; the national bauxite - alumina - aluminum industrial center, the region's renewable energy... At the same time, focus on developing high-tech agriculture, linking market value chains; developing resort and ecological tourism, promoting advantages in climate, natural landscapes, unique culture and Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark. Sustainable development, harmony between economy and culture, society, environment, maintaining political stability, ensuring national defense, security, social order and safety.

The National Assembly Chairman also requested the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee to continue to lead, direct, thoroughly grasp and well implement the resolutions of the Party, the National Assembly, and the Government, focusing on the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW dated October 6, 2022 of the Politburo on the direction of socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the Central Highlands region to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
