According to Mr. Duong Thanh Ha, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Hai Ward, in preparation for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, the ward is launching an environmental sanitation campaign in response to the "Green, Clean, and Beautiful Sunday" movement.
The forces focused on urban beautification and general cleaning in public areas and main roads, especially at the 36 polling stations in the area, ensuring a clean, beautiful, and unobstructed environment for voters to cast their ballots.

On the morning of March 8th, the People's Committee of the ward organized a ceremony to launch the "Tree Planting Festival in memory of President Ho Chi Minh" and conducted a general environmental cleanup along the streets, offices, and residential areas.
The program attracted a large number of officials, civil servants, and citizens, contributing to increasing urban green spaces, spreading the emulation movement to build a green, clean, and beautiful living environment, ensuring aesthetics, and looking forward to the great national event.

According to Mr. Ha, polling stations throughout the ward simultaneously launched a campaign to improve the environment. At the same time, the ward coordinated with relevant units to organize a comprehensive cleanup before, during, and after election day.
"The ward's authorities will continue to deploy forces to establish urban order, address encroachment on roads and sidewalks, and ensure a clear, clean, and beautiful landscape in polling areas and throughout the ward," Mr. Ha emphasized.

Accordingly, forces intensified inspections and promptly dealt with the encroachment on sidewalks and roads, spontaneous trading, and street vending; ensuring security, order, and environmental hygiene at 20 polling stations in the ward.
According to Nguyen Tran Bang, Director of the Public Service Center of Nguyen Tran Bang Ward, from March 5th to 31st, functional forces conducted regular inspections and monitoring at polling stations and along the following streets: Vo Nguyen Giap, Hoang Sa, Le Duc Tho, Nguyen Phan Vinh, Le Tan Trung, Khuc Hao, Ngo Quyen, Yet Kieu…
At the same time, maintaining order on sidewalks in the areas surrounding Nai Hien Dong Market, Man Thai Market, Chieu Market, and Mai Market will contribute to ensuring urban aesthetics and a clean environment for election day.

Simultaneously, efforts to ensure environmental hygiene were intensified, preventing the accumulation of household waste on roads and in residential areas, especially at polling stations.
Local authorities maintain an environmental task force to inspect, handle, and remove illegal waste collection points, ensuring environmental hygiene in Son Tra ward. This includes 24/7 inspections around Thuan Phuoc bridge, Son Tra peninsula, and other hotspots in the area.
