According to a video posted by a social media account, a cow suddenly appeared on the right lane of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway, and a man, believed to be the owner of the cow, calmly strolled close to the car lane.

The incident immediately startled many drivers, who braked sharply to avoid a chain reaction accident.

People and their cows casually "stroll" along the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway.

According to representatives of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway Project Management Board, the practice of people grazing livestock within the expressway's protection corridor has been very common recently. In many cases, cattle have strayed onto the expressway, posing a potential traffic safety hazard. The expressway management unit has repeatedly sent written requests to local authorities to cooperate in educating people about not grazing livestock in the corridor area, but the issue remains unresolved.

Traffic experts warn that allowing livestock onto the highway not only violates the law but also poses a significant risk of serious accidents. With a maximum speed of 90 km/h on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway, drivers may not have enough time to react to any unexpected obstacle.

To prevent similar incidents from recurring, local authorities and highway management units need to strengthen barrier measures and strictly control residential areas along the route. At the same time, people need to raise their awareness and absolutely refrain from grazing or leading livestock onto the highway.
