During the 13th term of the Party, alongside the national digital transformation process, the Ninh Binh Department of Education and Training identified the application of information technology and digital transformation as a key task, playing a crucial role in improving the overall quality of education. From management and administration to teaching, testing, and evaluation, digital transformation has gradually deepened, creating significant changes throughout the entire sector.
Synchronized management, interconnected data
Implementing the resolutions and action programs of the Central Government and the province on digital transformation, Ninh Binh has issued many plans and projects to promote the application of information technology in education. The education sector has been identified as a priority area, leading the way in building a digital government and a digital society.
Information technology infrastructure in educational institutions has received significant investment. 100% of schools are connected to broadband internet; many are equipped with smart classrooms, interactive whiteboards, and digital teaching equipment. School management software, including software for managing staff, student records, finances, and facilities, has been implemented uniformly, ensuring interoperability and synchronization.
The development and utilization of the education sector's database has yielded significant results. Teacher and student data are digitized and regularly updated, contributing to reduced administrative procedures, increased transparency, and improved efficiency in leadership and management.

Based on his school's experience, Mr. Bui Nhu Toan, Principal of Ly Nhan Tong High School (Tan Minh, Ninh Binh), believes that digital transformation has fundamentally changed management methods: "When data is digitized and updated promptly, the school administration can closely monitor the situation and manage more flexibly. Digital transformation contributes to improving the quality of governance and meeting the requirements of current educational reforms."
Spreading innovation in every school.
Digital transformation not only brings about changes in management but also directly impacts teaching and learning activities. Drawing on the experience of organizing online teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic, Ninh Binh's education sector is gradually shifting towards a proactive mindset, viewing digital technology as a tool to support innovation in teaching methods.
Many educational institutions have developed digital learning resource repositories, e-lectures, question banks, and online tests. Teachers are actively applying digital learning platforms and teaching support software, contributing to improving the quality of lessons and fostering student engagement.
At Tran Dang Ninh Secondary School (Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh), information technology applications are implemented synchronously in management and teaching. The school uses management software, implements electronic gradebooks and electronic student records; 100% of teachers are provided with digital signatures.
Along with management innovation, Tran Dang Ninh Secondary School is promoting the application of digital teaching equipment. According to Ms. Tran Thi Huong, the school's principal, teachers proactively design learning materials and digital teaching software, contributing to making lessons more engaging and suitable for the requirements of the reformed general education curriculum.
At Tran Bich San Secondary School (Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh), the application of information technology has also yielded significant results. Previously, teachers had to carry numerous lesson plans and notebooks to class, but now 100% of teachers use electronic lesson plans and digital signatures; management and teaching activities are primarily conducted using software. Digitization saves time and costs while improving teaching efficiency and student management.
Student Dinh Tuan Trung, from class 7A1 at Tran Bich San Secondary School, shared that lessons incorporating information technology make learning more engaging, easier to understand, and more enjoyable.
According to Ms. Hoang Thi Minh Nguyet, Principal of Tran Bich San Secondary School, applying information technology is an important step for the school to gradually build a smart school, serving to innovate teaching methods, testing, evaluation, and student management in a scientific and effective way.
The achievements during the 13th term demonstrate that digital transformation is the right direction, aligning with the requirements of educational development in the new era. The management staff and teachers have gradually improved their digital capabilities; students have access to a modern learning environment, developing essential skills for citizens in the digital age.
Entering the next stage of development, with the entire province aiming for rapid and sustainable development, digital transformation in education continues to be identified as a key and overarching task. The achievements made during the 13th term are an important foundation for Ninh Binh's education sector to confidently enter the new term, contributing to the successful realization of the goals set by the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
