Viettel has participated in the deployment of 53 public services, standardized 7 million subscribers, developed a language assistant for the court, and has 13 data centers… after 6 years of digital transformation.

In 2018, Viettel announced its new goal: "Pioneering and leading the creation of a digital society." From then on, the group transformed from a telecommunications service provider to a digital service provider. The company aims to integrate digital technology into all aspects of life, using technology to solve social problems and serve people across three pillars: digital government, digital economy , and digital society.

Regarding digital government , with a focus on data and online public services, Viettel participates in the deployment of 53 essential public services, building applications to automate public administrative centers and paperless public services… More than 7 million Viettel subscribers have had their information standardized, ensuring safety and protecting customer rights.

The corporation has deployed Intelligent Operations Centers (IOCs) in more than 30 provinces and cities, helping leaders at all levels make decisions based on real-time data and statistics.

With the development of a large-scale Vietnamese language model by relevant ministries and agencies, a trial of a virtual legal assistant serving the court system has been completed. The uniqueness of this AI assistant lies in its large and reliable legal knowledge base.

In the digital economy sector, the corporation recognizes that infrastructure supporting digital technology is a necessary condition for people and businesses to develop faster. Therefore, Viettel is investing heavily in digital infrastructure, closely adhering to the goal of Vietnam becoming a regional digital hub by 2030.

Currently, Viettel Cloud has the largest data center infrastructure in Vietnam, comprising 13 data centers with a scale of 9,000 racks. Its ecosystem includes over 70 products and services, ranging from physical infrastructure services such as space rental to AI (artificial intelligence) and IoT (Internet of Things) platforms. The shift of IT systems to the cloud environment optimizes resource efficiency, provides flexibility in use, and ensures the security of national data by a Vietnamese enterprise.

As a pillar of the digital society, Viettel has successfully built a digital twin of one of the first virtual cities in Vietnam, incorporating high-tech technologies (IoT, Big Data, AI, GIS, Simulation, Blockchain, etc.). Data from real-world locations, including buildings, houses, and weather conditions, is updated daily from satellites.

School management systems, online learning (K12Online), electronic health records, social security program management systems, etc., are also integrated on the national data platform. Thanks to this, the corporation helps improve the quality and convenience of accessing social services for citizens.

Viettel enhances cybersecurity, helping people live and work more safely in the digital space. Viettel collaborates closely with relevant authorities, service providers, and end users. As a leading provider of information security services in Vietnam, the corporation offers a next-generation security solution ecosystem, supporting early detection of risks and fraud signs for organizations and businesses. This is coupled with communication efforts to warn the community about targeted phishing attacks and common forms of impersonation.

A representative from the company stated that, with the message "Technology from the heart," Viettel is committed to accompanying the Government, businesses, and localities to comprehensively promote digital transformation and apply advanced, modern technologies owned and developed by Vietnamese people.
