The Secretariat screened 2,130 entries and selected 540 for the preliminary judging round. According to the assessment, many entries were meticulously and professionally produced, both in content and form, featuring various types of articles and modern formats such as Megastory and Infographic. All entries closely adhered to and fully reflected the themes and topics outlined in the Regulations of the 2nd Dien Hong Journalism Award, possessing good content that closely reflects the "pulse" of life, and particularly highlighting the position, role, functions, and responsibilities of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.
Due to the short gap between the two seasons, the number of entries was fewer than in the first season, but the quality was better. Many entries showed meticulous preparation and achieved high quality.
The preliminary judging subcommittees worked diligently to complete their tasks, ensuring that the judging process was on schedule and followed the correct procedures, with the goal of guaranteeing the quality and prestige of the Award. The preliminary judging was conducted urgently and continuously from December 10th to 18th. The subcommittees operated fairly and objectively, adhering closely to the Award Regulations and Judging Rules to score and select works for the final round.
