Accelerate land inventory 2024, adjust according to administrative merger

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document directing the Department of Agriculture and Environment (DARD) to study and implement the request of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to speed up the progress of land inventory and mapping of current land use status in 2024.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment requested provinces and cities to accelerate the progress of land inventory and mapping of current land use status in 2024. This request was made in the context that localities are implementing land inventory work in accordance with the 2024 Land Law and Prime Minister 's Directive No. 22. However, due to the policy of rearranging administrative units according to the resolution of the Party Central Committee and the resolution of the Government, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment requested localities to adjust the implementation plan.

Specifically, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment requires localities to direct communes to complete and submit the inventory results before June 15, 2025 before implementing administrative unit arrangement. Districts and provinces temporarily suspend the inventory until the completion of the arrangement of new administrative units.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment also requested localities to coordinate with the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security to review and unify locations and areas of national defense and security land.
