Major Pham Viet Tuan - Head of Mai Hoa Commune Police : Ensuring security and order on New Year's Eve.
Mai Hoa commune is a mountainous area with a large, scattered population, making the task of ensuring security and order, especially during the Lunar New Year, very challenging for the local police force.
Therefore, my colleagues and I proactively monitor the area, develop plans to ensure security and order, and increase patrols on roads and public areas. Throughout New Year's Eve, our duties will be continuous, from maintaining order and ensuring traffic safety to preventing violations of the law and providing timely assistance to citizens in case of emergencies. Simultaneously, the police force will also intensify propaganda and reminders to the public to comply with legal regulations, especially regarding the illegal use of fireworks, in order to ensure overall safety. For me and my colleagues, completing our duties on New Year's Eve and maintaining security and order so that everyone can peacefully welcome the new year is the most meaningful New Year's gift.

Mr. Pham Hong Chuong - Secretary of the Party Branch of Dong Thai village (Duc Tho commune) : Organizing activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year for the villagers.
In the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), besides preparing for my family, I, along with the Party branch and the village committee, focused on discussing and agreeing on tasks to ensure that the villagers could celebrate New Year's Eve in a joyful, civilized, and warm atmosphere. We mobilized the villagers to clean up the village roads and alleys, collect garbage, and tidy up public areas before the New Year. The hanging of the national flag, decorating the main roads, and supplementing the lighting system were carried out synchronously, creating a neat and tidy appearance for the village while also fostering a sense of closeness and vibrancy. Each family contributed a small effort, but it was this collective effort that made the shared space cleaner, brighter, and more beautiful in the first days of the year.
For me, the most meaningful thing is the spirit of unity among the villagers. When everyone consciously contributes to the shared space, New Year's Eve is not just a moment for each family, but also a joy that spreads throughout the entire community.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam - Huong Son commune : Preparing the offering tray for ancestor worship together.
On the last day of the year, my family and I clean the ancestral altar and prepare the New Year's Eve feast. It's not just about fulfilling a tradition; it's also a way for each of us to remind ourselves of abundance, about the past, and about the aspirations we look forward to.
My family's New Year's Eve feast usually includes familiar dishes that embody the flavors of Tet (Vietnamese Lunar New Year), such as banh chung (sticky rice cake), boiled chicken, sticky rice, and gio (pork sausage)... The dishes aren't elaborate, but they are all prepared with care and sincerity. Through this feast, my family expresses gratitude to our ancestors and prays for a peaceful, healthy, and lucky new year.
During the process of preparing the feast together, the bond between generations in the family is naturally nurtured. Adults assign tasks, and children and grandchildren help with whatever they can, interspersed with stories about Tet in the past, family traditions, and how to preserve customs. These moments help family members understand each other better and clearly appreciate the value of togetherness.

Ms. Tran Duong Huyen Trang - Thanh Sen Ward : Cherishing the warm moments of welcoming the New Year with loved ones.
Born in 2004, I belong to Generation Z and am accustomed to using technology and digital platforms in my daily life. On New Year's Eve, I still maintain the familiar habits of young people, such as watching the New Year's moment, sending greetings to friends via phone and social media. However, as the transition approaches, I proactively put aside personal activities to dedicate my time entirely to my family.
As the clock struck midnight, my family gathered together, exchanging simple wishes for health, peace, and a harmonious new year. After midnight, I went to the temple with my relatives to offer prayers for the new year. In that atmosphere, I expressed my wishes for a peaceful new year for my family, smooth sailing in my work, and many good things in the coming year.
Celebrating New Year's Eve the Gen Z way doesn't mean abandoning tradition. I still maintain modern habits of young people, but I always prioritize being with family during the most important moment of the year, so that New Year's Eve has a fresh feel while retaining the full meaning of togetherness.
