In recent years, Soc Son district has been one of the localities that has responded most actively to the Spring Tree Planting Festival movement of Hanoi. According to statistics, in 2024, this locality planted a total of 28,553 trees of all kinds.

The above results reached 190.3% of the district's plan and 259.6% of the plan assigned by Hanoi City. The rate of trees growing and developing well also reached over 95%.

Vice Chairman of Soc Son District People's Committee Do Minh Tuan said that in 2025, the district strives to plant 15,000 new trees of all kinds; take good care of and protect the existing forest area.

“In addition to the assigned quotas for communes, towns and districts, we request that units mobilize people to plant more fruit trees and green trees throughout the year according to the season…” - Mr. Do Minh Tuan added.

Meanwhile, in Phuc Tho district, the Tet tree planting festival to forever remember Uncle Ho has become a beautiful tradition of the people in the district in particular. Promoting the above good tradition, in 2025, Phuc Tho district continues to develop and issue a plan, striving to plant at least 12,000 new trees of all kinds this year.

Head of the Economic Department of Phuc Tho District Can Van Hong said that the district will plant 185 new black star trees on Cau 7 Road (Tam Thuan Commune) at the launching ceremony scheduled to be held on the morning of February 5, 2025. People's Committees of communes, towns, agencies and units will plant at least 11,815 more trees of all kinds.

Along with Soc Son and Phuc Tho districts, 28 other districts, towns and cities in Hanoi have all planned to organize the 2025 Spring Tree Planting Festival, with the common spirit of solemnity, economy, practicality and efficiency. Combining planting with care for trees to grow and develop best.

According to statistics from the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in 2024, the entire city planted 481,000 new trees, reaching 103% of the plan set at the beginning of the year. According to the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (the unit in charge of implementing the Spring Tree Planting Festival 2025), currently, based on Plan No. 383/KH-UBND of the Hanoi People's Committee, the unit has coordinated and guided departments, branches and localities to develop a specific plan to organize the launching ceremony of "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho", ensuring the set schedule.

The Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has also provided guidance on selecting plants suitable for the climate and soil of each locality, prioritizing tested species, multi-purpose trees, large timber trees, landscape trees, shade trees, rare timber trees, etc.

Along with the organization of launching the Tree Planting Festival in accordance with the general spirit, the Hanoi People's Committee requested that after implementing the tree planting, units and localities organize inspections, evaluations, and draw lessons.
