Nguyen Hai Yen, a student taking the exam at Chau Van Liem High School (Ninh Kieu Ward), said that this year's Literature exam was of moderate difficulty, but the time allotted was quite tight. She appreciated the social commentary question about promoting Vietnamese intelligence, as it was a relatable issue, easy to relate to real life, and allowed for expressing her viewpoint. Although she didn't complete the exam as well as she hoped, she predicts a score of around 7 points in Literature. With a plan to major in Primary Education, she aims for a total score of around 27 points across the three subjects and will continue to strive for better results in the remaining exams.

At the examination centers in the former Hau Giang region, after completing the Literature exam, many candidates left the examination room in a fairly relaxed mood. Candidate Ho Bao Ngan, a 12th-grade Chemistry student from Vi Thanh Specialized High School, said: “I found the exam relatively difficult because it required candidates to have logical reasoning skills on issues related to real life, especially the argumentative section when discussing science, technology, and artificial intelligence. But I was quite interested in doing the exam as it helped me test my knowledge and express my personal opinions.”
Sharing the same opinion, Ho Kim Nguyen, a student in class 12A4 at Vi Thanh High School, said: “I found the exam difficult, especially the literary analysis section, because I usually focus on social commentary. I found the question format quite new and required a lot of critical thinking, so I guess I'll only get an average score.”
