At the Ngo Sy Lien Junior High School exam site, at approximately 4:10 PM, the first male student emerged from the exam hall with a cheerful expression. Volunteers cheered and congratulated the student on completing the Math exam.
"The exam was quite difficult. I tried my best to answer the questions I could. I didn't have enough time to solve some of the difficult math questions," the student said.

Sharing the same assessment, Tuệ Linh, a student from Việt Đức High School, believes that this year's math exam was difficult, and only teachers could solve all the problems correctly within 90 minutes. Tuệ Linh thinks that not many students were able to complete the entire exam.
Many candidates reported that they only completed less than 80% of the math exam.
Leaving the exam hall, Hai Minh and Ngoc Ha from Tran Phu High School discussed the exam questions and solutions. Hai Minh said that he only managed to complete about 70% and struggled with part 3 of the Math exam. Ngoc Ha did slightly better, completing 75%, but also had difficulty with some challenging questions in part 2 (True/False multiple-choice section).

Some students expressed considerable anxiety to their parents when they only performed at an average level. Many aimed for Math as a subject to "recover" from failing grades; however, the general consensus was that while students could achieve a decent score if they had a solid grasp of the basics, getting a perfect score was not easy.
At many examination centers, although the results were not as good as expected, most candidates left the examination room with a positive mindset, preparing themselves for the final day of the exam.

This is the first year that 12th-grade students are taking exams under the new general education program, and the structure and format of the exam have changed compared to previous years. For Mathematics, the exam is divided into three parts.
- The first part consists of 12 multiple-choice questions, with 4 options to choose from, each with only one correct answer.
- The second part consists of 4 True-False multiple-choice questions. Each question has 4 options, and for each option, the test-taker chooses True or False.
- The third section consists of 6 multiple-choice questions with short answers. Candidates should mark the boxes corresponding to their answers.
This year's math exam is considered to closely follow the 12th-grade curriculum and has a high level of differentiation. The difficulty of the questions increases progressively, especially in the third part. Such an exam will ensure the goal of graduation assessment and clearly differentiate between good and excellent students, serving as preparation for university and college entrance exams.

On June 27th, for the 2006 General Education Program, students will continue with the Natural Sciences or Social Sciences combined exam in the morning, and the Foreign Language exam in the afternoon. For the new General Education Program (2018 General Education Program), students will take two elective exams in the morning.
Local authorities across the country continue to tighten exam discipline while ensuring the best conditions for candidates to complete the 2025 High School Graduation Examination safely, seriously, and with high quality.
