2023 High School Graduation Exam

According to information from the Ministry of Education and Training , regarding the development of the exam question bank, the Ministry has completed the review of the question matrices for 15 subjects. The sample exam questions for the 2023 High School Graduation Examination were developed and finalized, and announced on March 1st.

In addition, we will continue to review, edit, and refine the exam question bank in preparation for the exam question drafting committee.

Regarding the exam question preparation process, the Ministry of Education and Training has issued guidelines on the exam question preparation procedure, ensuring that question combinations are randomly selected from the exam question bank for drafting, reviewing, and refining exam questions and answers; the forms for each stage are reviewed and perfected; and the responsibilities of those participating in the Exam Question Preparation Council are clearly defined.

This year, the Ministry of Education and Training continues to use the version of the multiple-choice test scoring software that was provided to the Departments of Education and Training in 2022.

To overcome some limitations in the use of multiple-choice test scoring software, the Ministry of Education and Training has trained and guided the Departments of Education and Training in preparing information technology infrastructure, installing and using the software correctly according to regulations; and provided thorough training on software usage.

To synthesize the limitations and errors that occurred in previous exams during the grading process, and to develop solutions to overcome them and prevent their recurrence.
