Students from Binh Tri Dong Secondary School (Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City) were delighted to stroll around the company's exhibition space. The space displayed a production model, a diagram of the company's formation and development, and a variety of noodle types and essential ingredients for a delicious bowl of noodles.

Learning while playing

The students were given a tour of the attractive, neat, and easy-to-understand exhibition space. They exclaimed, "So the company has many types of instant noodles besides the Hao Hao that my family usually eats!"

You will be greeted by company staff, have your picture taken, receive a brief introduction to the brand's development, answer questions, and receive gifts.

Students learned that instant noodles originated in Japan. In Vietnam alone, there are 6 branches, regularly producing 3.5 billion packets annually.

The students learned that noodles are made from wheat, and that producing a packet of noodles involves many steps and criteria to create a quality product that suits consumer preferences. Through this introduction, they could easily distinguish between fried and non-fried noodles.

In particular, the packaging is made from PP05 plastic, which can come into contact with food without harming health. The vegetables in the noodle packet are freeze-dried, helping to preserve their flavor and allowing for longer storage. The yellow color comes from turmeric powder, which makes the noodles more visually appealing to consumers.

The trip wasn't just for sightseeing; it was also a place to learn how to introduce a product or a favorite job, and to confidently converse and ask questions to people you meet for the first time...

Tran Tam Nghi shared: "I'm very happy to visit a large company for the first time. Through this trip, we got to learn from experience, which felt more like a fun outing. I researched the company beforehand to try and answer as many questions as possible."

"I learned new things from the yellow color of the noodles, fried in palm oil. I thought there was only one factory, but I didn't expect there to be so many. Through this trip, I will try my best to study hard so that I can work at a big company in the future, see more things, and travel to more places."

Help students build confidence.

Nguyen Hoang Minh shared: "Four students from my class are representing the group on this field trip. This is a valuable experience for students, especially in their final year of high school."

"I gained a lot of knowledge by seeing the production process. Each company has its own production stage, and I learned that it's proprietary. I hope there will be more enriching trips like this in the future."

"I was very excited and curious about the ingredients and processing method. After being guided, I learned that the ingredients in the noodles are safe, convenient for daily life, shorten the time spent preparing meals, and contain good ingredients and sufficient nutrients."

"Through this trip, I learned skills such as self-confidence, listening, and gaining more understanding, which is useful and meaningful for students," said Van Kim Ngan.

Ms. Do Thi Dan Tram, a teacher at Binh Tri Dong Secondary School in Binh Tan District, said that about 40 students in the 9th grade participated in the field trip.

"The students really enjoyed the field trip. While a packet of instant noodles only costs around 4,000 VND, seeing the production line firsthand made them feel that it was very elaborate and hygienic. This trip also helped them experience and learn about the profession."

"The students have gained more observation skills and become more confident in communication. I hope there will be more field trips not only for 9th-grade students, but also for 8th-grade students who are in the process of career change so that they can gain more knowledge," Ms. Tram said.
