(NADS) - The 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival will take place from March 9th to 13th, 2025, with the theme "Buon Ma Thuot – The Destination of World Coffee". More than just a festival celebrating the essence of Vietnamese coffee, this year's event also marks the 50th anniversary of the Victory Day in Buon Ma Thuot (March 10th, 1975 - March 10th, 2025), opening up opportunities to promote tourism, local culture, and affirm the position of Buon Ma Thuot coffee on the world map.

A festival with strong cultural identity and international scale.

Taking place in Buon Ma Thuot city and several neighboring localities, this year's festival offers a vibrant cultural space, combining traditional values with the spirit of the times.

Speaking at the press conference, a representative of the Organizing Committee shared: "Organizing the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival is not only an important trade promotion activity, but also an opportunity for domestic and foreign businesses to promote their products, expand markets, and enhance international cooperation. We believe and hope that this event will contribute to affirming Buon Ma Thuot's position on the world coffee map, while promoting tourism , investment, and showcasing the image of a dynamic, friendly, and culturally rich Dak Lak."

Compared to the previous festival, this year's event will feature many outstanding activities aimed at expanding the coffee culture space, combining traditional essence with modern technological advancements:

Coffee and OCOP Products Exhibition : A gathering place for reputable coffee businesses, cooperatives, and producers, showcasing unique products ranging from original coffee to innovative applications in the industry.
Specialty Coffee Roasting Competition : A platform for roasting artisans, celebrating sophistication in coffee processing and flavor creation.
International Trade Conference – Connecting and Elevating Vietnamese Coffee : An opportunity for domestic businesses to access international markets, expand cooperation, and increase export value.
Groundbreaking Ceremony for Trung Nguyen Legend Energy Coffee Factory : A significant step forward in Vietnam's coffee industry, demonstrating strong potential and a sustainable development mindset.
The "Together, Sharing" coffee camp at CADA Plantation (Krong Pac district) : A cultural space recreating the history of coffee development in the Central Highlands, where visitors can learn about the cultivation and processing of coffee and enjoy it in a vibrant, forest-themed atmosphere.
High-tech coffee experience programs : Visitors will witness groundbreaking applications in coffee processing and enjoyment, from modern roasting technology to organic coffee tourism and specialty coffee models.
