In the central area, especially in Phan Dinh Phung ward, every street, flower bed, row of trees, and lighting is being meticulously cared for daily so that Thai Nguyen can welcome the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 with a bright, green, clean, and beautiful landscape.

Along with environmental sanitation activities, the beautification of greenery is an important part of creating a spring atmosphere in the central area of ​​Thai Nguyen province.

In the days leading up to Tet, from early morning when the dew still clings to the leaves until late at night when the traffic thins out, the uniforms of environmental workers become a familiar sight on the streets of the city center and Vo Nguyen Giap Square, Phan Dinh Phung ward.

These days, the work is no longer just the usual daily sweeping. Each shift is longer, and the frequency of collecting and cleaning is higher, all to ensure that public spaces remain clean and unobstructed for people to enjoy the Spring Festival and celebrate Tet.

Alongside environmental sanitation activities, the beautification of greenery is a crucial part of creating a spring-like atmosphere in the central area of ​​Thai Nguyen.

In median strips, small parks, flower gardens, and central streets, green space workers diligently prune branches, shape canopies, clear leaves, maintain lawns, and plant additional ornamental flowers.

Ms. Dam Thi Huong, from the Greenery Team (Thai Nguyen Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company), shared: "We have to take advantage of sunny days to prune trees, weed, and plant flowers. Our greatest wish is that when people walk through the central streets, they see neat greenery, vibrant flowers, and clearly feel the atmosphere of spring arriving."

While the hustle and bustle of city life continues in the late afternoon sun, the street lighting crew is still diligently working on the central streets to complete the final stages of the public lighting and decorative lighting system.

Every electrical cabinet, every light bulb, every decorative light strip is meticulously inspected, synchronously reviewed, and promptly replaced upon detection of any damage, ensuring that the streets remain brightly lit, safe, and stable leading up to the New Year.

Workers are tilling the soil in preparation for planting flowers to create a landscaped area around the circular island.

The warm yellow lights along the streets and the colorful decorative lights in the city center not only illuminate the urban landscape but also contribute to igniting a sense of excitement and togetherness in everyone's hearts as Tet approaches.

Behind that impressive appearance lies the harmonious coordination of many departments: environmental sanitation, landscaping, lighting, and technical operations.

Mr. Pham Hieu Trung, Deputy General Director of Thai Nguyen Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company, affirmed: "We consider serving during Tet not only a duty but also a responsibility to the community. Our forces are deployed 24/7 in the central area of ​​the province, where many spring festivities take place. The goal is to keep the city clean, bright, green, and beautiful throughout the Tet holiday."

Tet, the Lunar New Year, is a time for family reunions and rest, but for those working in urban sanitation, it's a season of relentless work. They quietly begin their shifts before the city awakens, diligently working amidst the bustling crowds and silently behind the lights of New Year's Eve, ensuring that Thai Nguyen becomes brighter and more vibrant each day.
